Laboratory Technician Training

The Life Science industry continues to grow, and trained workers are in demand.

The Full Employment Council is partnering with BioNexus KC and Metropolitan Community Collge to provide a free Laboratory Technician Training Program.

Are you:

  • A high school graduate who is 18+, interested in science?

Join us in taking the next step in your career!

​Sign up for a FREE 8-week program —one night a week— to gain skills needed to launch your entry level laboratory career.

What you'll learn:

  • Sterilization Techniques: Ensure a safe and contamination-free lab environment

  • Safety Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and safety protocols.

  • Metrology: Master the use of lab equipment for precise measurements.

  • Career Readiness: Skills you need to land your next career.

  • & More Lab Essentials!

Enroll:

  • You must be 18 or older and reside in the counties of Cass, Clay, Platte, Jackson, Ray, Missouri.

  • Register with jobs.mo.gov and upload or create a current resume at jobs.mo.gov.

  • Next, visit a FEC Career Center.

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Funding is also available for transportation during training.
