Laboratory Technician Training

The Laboratory Technician Training will prepare you for a career in the growing biotech industry. The Life Science industry continues to grow, and trained workers are in demand. The Full Employment Council is partnering with BioNexus KC and Metropolitan Community College to provide a free 8-week Laboratory Technician Training Program.

Funding is available for transportation during training.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a resident of Cass, Clay, Platte, Jackson, or Ray county in Missouri

Environmental Services Training

The EPA - HAZMAT - Environmental Services Training will prepare you for careers in construction, transportation and other fields dealing with hazardous waste. Participants receive stipends over the course of the class, and may be eligible for supportive services.

Qualifications include residency in Kansas City, Missouri, and 18 years or older.

A joint info session on these targeted trainings will be held in March. You may be able to begin registration immediately after the info session.
