Recruitment & Screening
The One-Stop Missouri Career Centers operated by the Full Employment Council, (FEC) can take the enormous burden of recruiting and pre-screening applicants off your shoulders. FEC will recruit and screen applicants to fit your minimum requirements.
Recruitment
FEC will assist in recruitment efforts to fill positions within an organization. You can list job openings with FEC so that potential applicants have the referral, or FEC can provide you with screening services, on-the-job training services or those persons who have completed training.
Screening
FEC will assess candidates' skills and screen for those who meet your requirements. By request, drug screens and/or physical exams can be arranged for those in on-the-job training or other training activities.
Hiring Fairs
FEC will arrange for qualified applicants to interview with you at a hiring fair. FEC handles the recruitment and pre-screening. This service requires some commitment including on-site hiring decisions for qualified applicants.
Recruitment & Screening Q & A
These services may include funds for transportation, supplies and other training or work-related expenses based on the need of the customer. Vouchers for housing, transportation or other needs are also available under some programs.
What is FEC's commitment?
The Full Employment Council will screen applicants to fit your specified requirements. You are not obligated to hire anyone referred by FEC.
Who are the eligible applicants?
Employees referred to you have been screened by FEC and will have completed FEC's job preparation course. Any candidates who come from FEC have also developed a career plan with their goals, which FEC uses to match them to employment. Applicants have been determined eligible for these service due to layoff, economic status, veteran status or other factors, including being the resident of a federal empowerment zone.

Organizations agree to provide a meaningful training and work experience that results in full-time employment.
