The Full Employment Council is a business-led, private, nonprofit corporation whose mission is to obtain public and private sector employment for the unemployed and underemployed residents of the Greater Kansas City area. The Full Employment Council accomplishes this goal by working in collaboration with business, local units of government, educational institutions, labor and community-based organizations. This partnership responds to employer needs while reducing unemployment, underemployment and the public dependency of area residents.

Employment Council, Inc. (FEC) supplies employers with a skilled workforce and
job seekers with meaningful training and career opportunities.
Our Guiding Principles
Customer satisfaction is our goal. We seek the opinion of our
customers so that we can determine and meet their needs.
We provide quality service by consistently helping our customers
acquire job-specific skills that result in good paying jobs, and by
enabling employers to gain a productive and skilled workforce.
We render quality service, we are dedicated, professional,
friendly, courteous and non-biased advocates for those whom we assist.
As a team, we are more effective working together than we are
working alone. We do that which is required. Together as a team, we can
do anything and everything that must be done.
Accountability is our hallmark. Accountability is what generates
confidence and support in the community for our efforts.
We work in partnership with each other - community-based
organizations, labor, elected officials, units of government,
businesses, educational institutions and customers, because by working
together, we are able to leverage resources and help others.
We demonstrate that which we strive to instill in our customers:
giving 100 percent, 100 percent of the time is the yardstick by which we
measure ourselves.
We demonstrate dedication to our mission through volunteerism,
and by excelling beyond day-to-day expectations.
Employee development and recognition is essential to the
accomplishment of our mission.
